Dr. Brum, ND is originally from Brazil, where he practiced as a clinical psychologist before making Canada his home. He decided to become a naturopathic physician because he strongly believes in an integrative approach in medicine and he wants to meet his patients where they are at and provide natural solutions to optimize their health.
As a licensed naturopathic doctor in British-Columbia, he wants to contribute to his community by empowering people to make conscious decisions about their health.
He has a special practice focus in:

• Digestive problems (reflux, IBS, IBD, Celiac disease, bloating etc.)

• Allergies (he is able to perform the Skin Scratch Test for allergies and uses Sublingual immunotherapy as a treatment option)

He is also an advocate for the awareness of Celiac disease because he is celiac himself. He makes it his mission to help people understand autoimmune conditions and to provide science based naturopathic interventions to increase their quality of life.
